Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited had issued and sold 9 million ordinary shares (IPO) worth Rs. 900 million at face value of Rs. The investment fund and 4 percent or 360,000 shares were allocated for the employees and the remaining 8.1 million shares were allotted to the general public.
The IPO was distributed on Friday, Kartik 12 by Gaela Pratha. Till the last day, 2,390,218 applicants had applied. Out of which 95,722 applications have been rejected.The number of eligible applicants was 2.294 million. Accordingly, 8 lakh 19 thousand people have received shares at the rate of only 10 lots. The remaining 1.571 million 218 applicants were left empty handed.
Nepse is likely to set a minimum opening range of Rs 94.39 per share and a maximum of Rs 283.17 per share for the company’s first transaction.

General meeting of Union Hydropower convened:
Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) has convened its 15th Annual General Meeting on January 10 at its registered office, Dhaebighat.The meeting will be conducted at 11 am through virtual medium through zoom app.
The meeting will pass a resolution regarding the appointment and remuneration approval of the managing director, appointment of auditor, approval of financial statements of the last fiscal year.

The meeting will pass a resolution regarding the election of 4 directors (including women) from the founding group of the company, appointment of auditors, approval of financial statements of the last fiscal year.

Adjustment of share price of Swabalamban Microfinance:
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the share price of Swabalamban Microfinance Financial Institution Limited (SWBBL) on Tuesday.
Nepse has fixed the new price by adjusting the share price after the microfinance book closed for the purpose of the general meeting. Nepse has adjusted 19 percent bonus share of microfinance on this day. After the adjustment, the share price of microfinance has stood at Rs 1,100.84.
Nepse has adjusted the share price of microfinance based on the last price of the previous trading day. The last trading on the previous trading day was at Rs 1,310 per share.
Microfinance had announced to distribute 19 percent bonus share of the existing paid up capital and 6 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
