IPO of 27 companies coming
In the stock market, 27 companies are about to issue IPOs worth Rs 7.27 billion. These 27 companies are about to issue 66 million IPOs worth Rs 7.27 billion.At present, all these 27 companies are waiting for permission to issue IPO. These companies will issue IPO after the permission of Nepal Securities Board.
Generally, there is a legal requirement to issue shares within two months of getting permission from the board. The 27 companies that have applied to the board for the issue of shares have stated that they will issue 66 million shares worth Rs 7.27 billion.
Of them, 18 are hydropower, two are insurance, six are microfinance and one is a group. The board has stated that most of the hydropower companies are going to issue shares to the locals and the rest to the public.Sanjen Hydropower, Supermai Hydropower, Sicklams Hydropower,
Mandakini Hydropower, Shwetganga Hydropower and Construction, Three Star, River Falls, Upper Hewakhola, Dordi Khola, Sayapatri HydropowerBalefi Hydropower, Green Venture Limited, Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company, Himalayan Hydropower Limited, Vindhyavasini Hydropower Development Company will issue shares to both locals and general public.
Apart from hydropower, the other six companies are Upkar Microfinance, Rashtriya Utthan, Jalpa Microfinance, Nashdo Microfinance, Ardash Microfinance, CYC Microfinance and Dis Media Network. These companies have sought permission to issue shares to the public.
