IPO of 24 companies coming soon
Kathmandu. The IPO, which was suspended for some time, is now in the process of being issued.
The IPO of 24 companies worth Rs 6.60 billion (primary shares) is coming to the market.
According to the Nepal Securities Board (NSB), 24 companies have applied for the IPO of 59.356 million shares. The board has stated that 13 companies have applied in the hydropower sector.
All the companies will issue IPOs as soon as the Securities and Exchange Board approves them. According to the board, currently 24 companies have applied for IPO, but the board is in the process of conducting preliminary study on 10 companies.
These companies have applied for IPO worth Rs 2.88 billion.
The board has sent a preliminary study of eight companies and sent some corrections. The eight companies sent for rectification are about to issue IPOs worth Rs 1.87 billion.
The board has stated that it will allow the issuance of IPO as soon as the study is completed. The IPO of the six companies to come in the near future is equal to Rs 1.84 billion 36 lakh 61 thousand 900.
